The Barrier Dunes Community is a Fabulous Place to Spend Your Vacation, Regardless of the Time of Year!

Barrier Dunes is a friendly, attractive complex! You will find yourself making friends with people on the beach, at the pool, out walking your dogs in the complex or on the beach, almost from the moment you arrive.  Enjoy a wonderful evening watching the sunset, then return for a bonfire, sing-alongs  -- if somebody in the group is talented enough and has a guitar -- and make 'smores with the kids while you watch the star-filled nights that are so breathtaking on the Cape!

BARRIER DUNES NEWS & EVENTS OF INTEREST TO VISITORS

Winter potluck dinners, bridge games, Monday Night Football, a Super Bowl Party and other social activities are planned for the Clubhouse this year! If you are a winter guest, please be sure to ask about these social activities.

There is a Hi-Low Aerobic with Body Toning Class in the clubhouse every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 10:30 through at least the end of February.    This free class is being run by a fellow Barrier Dunes winter visitor who is an AFFA certified instructor.  Anyone who wishes to participate should bring a towel or mat and hand weights, if you have them.

Barrier Dune Beachfront

Barrier Dunes has a beautiful, wide, sugar-sand beach. Lots of room for you and your family and dogs to enjoy a day of fun and sun.

The Gulf-front Pool Area

The Gulf-front Pool at Barrier Dunes overlooks the beach. The clubhouse and restrooms are immediately adjacent to the pool area.

The Barrier Dunes tennis courts are lit in the evenings. The courts are just steps from Beach Time and Water's Color and directly behind Beachy Keen.

Barrier Dunes Pet-Friendly Features

Pet "pick-up" stations are conveniently located throughout the complex. Lots of walking paths and boardwalks are also available in the complex and many guests and owners bring their dogs to the beach as well.
